Inspiring work from an inspiring artist friend of mine.

Dan Nolan is former corporate junkie who took a leap of faith to follow his passion for art. I'm always inspired by people who leave the corporate world for true passions and congratulate them on their courage and ability to identify that passion.

Dan's latest work "Uncommitted" strikes me personally as an excellent way of combining multiple ideas into a cohesive whole. I find myself often stagnant because of multiple ideas I can't seem to pull together. I think Dan's painting speaks to me for that reason. The two very different styles he's using work very well together.

Dan's paintings often have deeper, psychological symbolism and meaning in them. It's very personal, and Dan sometimes shares this background on his blog when he posts the new work. Art that makes you think and can hold its own on a wall is great art in my opinion!
